The Prep Sport Channel for Fans
Okay…so you get a little excitable at your high school’s football game. It’s okay. We’re not judging. Maybe the face paint and missing shirt is a little much for the people sitting directly behind you we can appreciate your passion. That’s why we built the Prep Sport Channel.
What’s on tonight, you ask. How about a whole lotta of your local school’s prep sport action. That’s what’s on. This isn’t the passive channel’s your dad’s glued to (really, CSI, Carls Junior??) You get to participate…make it yours. First, if you happen to that ridiculous 70 yard run back or clutch 3 point shot on video, upload it to the channel. You’ll be competing with everyone’s videos which can be voted on so get good stuff. You may even make the League-wide or Nationwide top videos. If you’re stuff is really good, you may find it in your local online newspaper but don’t let it go to your head. Hold off on the knuckle tattoos for now. If we’ve got some newbie sportscaster, this is the time to step up. Hey…you can’t be worse than the announcers the pro’s have.
For your schools sport’s channel, you’ll find other member’s of your school, detail on your team’s ranking, match ups, and much more. For those fans who are insanely competitive, we’ve added the Weekly Faceoff where you and and your next opponent can vote on this week’s big game. Don’t let them out-vote you! Like in Russia, vote early and often. You’ll also see the player match-ups for the game. It’s pretty cool to see the individual players on your team but also the opponent’s team. Being a prep sport fan just got personal.
The channel is essentially the hub for players and fans in your school. Chat will be available on that page where you and other fans can discuss all things Prep Sports. You can even check out other school’s chat and channel for some deep reconnaissance to make sure they’re not excessive in their junk-talk. So now we have a place to go for fans and fanatics.
You just need a Fan Account which takes all of 10 seconds to set up. This Fan account requires just a few pieces of information such as name, age (minimum of 14), and school. You can also upload either your fan video or prep sport videos such as high school football highlights. The best part of a Fan Account is what it allows you to do. If you’re not a player, the Fan Account allows you to either set-up or join a Fantasy League. KABOOM! This is really we’re all here anyway. You’re allowed to choose players from your league and that’s just the beginning…you can find out more at our Prep Sport Fantasy League page.
We’re pretty excited about the school channel and we’re going to be adding new stuff all the time. We really look forward your recommendations and we plan on adding the best ones to the site.
